Rules of Conduct

Every executives and employee must obey these rules of conduct regardless of their position. All shareholders including partner companies are entitled to these rules of conduct. The rules of conduct serve as a concrete standard of what Lotte’s staff members should and should not do and define their role performances in everyday life.

Chapter 6. Nation and Society
6-1 Law Observance
  • 1)Our company respect social value of respective regions (home and abroad) and conduct business to meet regional interests.

  • 2)Thoroughly abide by related regulations of the nation and region and the contents of OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Official in International Business Transactions in every corporate and business activity.

6-2 Political Nonintervention.

LOTTE ALUMINIUM does not intervene in politics.

6-3 Environment Protection
  • 1)Recognize the importance of protecting environment and resources and put forth best efforts into preserving clean environment.

  • 2)Our company fully supports partners and affiliates as well as our own to develop and invest in technologies to protect environment (resource recycling, removing sources of pollution, etc.).

  • 3)Consider recyclability and eco-friendliness as top priority when buying goods and products.

6-4 Security Management
  • 1)Put efforts into preventing fire, gas, or other safety accidents through systemized and continuous education and inspection.

  • 2)Thoroughly conduct regular maintenance check-up on various facilities so that users can use them safely.

  • 3)Put efforts into preventing disasters and accidents by finding and improving dangerous workplaces.

6-5 Contribution to Nation and Social Development
  • 1)Fully support individual employee’s voluntary social volunteer activities and create an environment for employees to participate with enthusiasm.

  • 2)Serve to be a company that contributes to development of academics, arts, culture, and sports to make our society spiritually richer.

  • 3)Be a lasting company through fair profit-making and contribute to stability and development of national economy.
