The observance of laws and corporate ethics is considered as the foundation that a company can exist as a member of society, whether abroad or in Korea. The transparency and morality of a company such as increased demands and monitoring of civic groups and government on the social responsibility and legitimacy of a company become important now more than any other periods. The Ethics Office of Lotte Aluminum conducts the practical businesses of Ethics Committee of Lotte Aluminum, evaluates the practices of rules of ethical conducts and code of ethics and carries out the businesses to effectively settle the rules of ethical conducts. Moreover, the office will perform its natural roles in carrying out the corporate ethics by solving the general problems in the company by receiving the reports on internal and external behaviors against the ethical conducts and so by preventing those behaviors through corporate ethics education.
