With the production of 7μ Aluminum Foil by our own technology in 1968 for the first time in Korea as the starting point, Lotte Aluminum has been supplying the quality products to our customers through development and production of flexible packing materials and daily products. Lotte Aluminum acquired the KS Mark on aluminum foils and adhesive aluminum foils by progressive technical developments in 1971 for the first time in Korea.. Through these efforts, Lotte Aluminum has been consolidated its market position as the leader and won the president prize for manufacturing innovation(IE) in the national quality contest in 1993.

Furthemore, Lotte Aluminum was selected as one of Top 100 Quality Management Firms designated by Administrator of Industrial Advancement Administration in 1994. With the accumulated technologies and know-how, Lotte Aluminum is on a par with the existing companies since it entered into the PET bottle and steel can industry in 1994. In 1995, Lotte Aluminum acquired ISO 9001 for all product lines such as aluminum foils, flexible packing materials, cans and PET bottles for the first time in the same industry. In 1997, Lotte Aluminum was selected as one of Top 100 Firms in quality competitiveness by the National Institute of Technology and Quality.
